The Big Country Chapter is located in Abilene, Texas. We were chartered as the Big Country Chapter in May 2002. We hold our meetings every other month at VFW Post 6873 at 1000 hrs. If you are a loadmaster or have ever been a loadmaster you are qualified to attend. Please come by and see us if you are in the area. We would enjoy your company and the opportunity to chat with you, exchange airlift stories and PLA happenings. We had a very productive year in 2004 here in the Big Country. We conducted a garage sale at VFW Post 6873 pavillian, we entered a float in the Abilene Veterans Day parade, we hosted a welcome home party for the active duty loadmasters returning from Iraq and conducted our annual Christmas party at VFW Post 6873 which is always a good get together. We are looking for another productive year in 2005. If you are ever in the area please come by and see us.
